Summary
I’m a data-driven design leader who has with over 6 years of design management experience and many years of hands-on design experience. My experience spans work for Fortune 500 companies, those in the tech industry, higher education clients and agencies.
I'm passionate about leading teams crafting modern product experiences that help deliver desired business outcomes and a quality user experience. My experience has spanned visual design, UX design, product design, design systems, brand identity, design tooling and most recently integration of generative AI (GAI) interaction patterns in existing design experiences. To accomplish this, I've collaborated closely with UX research and product partners as well as developers and engineers, which I've also managed throughout my career.

As a design leader, ensuring that expectations are clear and that there are no surprises is of utmost importance to me. I tend to lead team members using a situational leadership style. I create an environment that supports open discussion and individual career development.

Delivering impactful results
Ensuring that our team is focused on the work that is most important to the business is key. I’ve developed processes that enable teams to prioritize the most impactful initiatives and defined workflows for ensuring craft and quality. I also partner closely with UX Research partners to ensure that our team understands customer needs and to iteratively test our designs.
My expectation is that every team member acts like an owner of the work assigned to them - ensuring that they speak up if we're not building the right thing for the business or the customer and ensuring that we're building it in the right way.​​​
